Welcome to Habibi’s Book Club.
Yeah… this is finally happening.
For years, I’ve been the guy saving books faster than I actually read them.
Heard it on a podcast. Saw someone mention it in an interview. Fell into a 2 a.m. rabbit hole and added three more to the list.
You know the move.
“Yeah, I’ll get to that one.”
And then… never touching it.
So I figured it was time to stop collecting books like trophies and actually start reading them.
Not just reading them — digging into them.
Breaking them down.
Figuring out what’s actually worth your time…and what just sounds cool until you really think about it.
That’s what this is.
Not school.
Not book reports.
Not some academic breakdown where you need a dictionary open next to you.
This is curiosity in real time.
You’re gonna see:
What grabs me right away
What makes me pause and go “wait… what?”
The ideas that stick
The stuff that sounds wild… but might not be as crazy as it sounds
And yeah — sometimes calling BS when something doesn’t hold up
Some books are gonna deal with psychology.
Some with history.
Some with strange stuff people don’t like talking about.
Some with ideas that make you rethink what you thought you knew.
And look — the goal here isn’t to tell you what to believe.
It’s to ask better questions.
That’s the whole vibe.
If you’ve ever:
Saved a book and never opened it
Heard someone mention something and thought “damn I should read that”
Fell into a late-night rabbit hole and came out more confused than when you started
You’re in the right place, habibi.
We’re doing this together.
And this week… We start for real.
Midweek, I’m announcing the first book.
Not just what it is — but why it’s first.
Why it matters.
Why it’s worth the time.
Until then… welcome to the rabbit hole.
Let’s see where this goes.
